Fornication or Sexual Immorality will send you to Hell! REPENT

Fornication means any unlawful, immoral and or illegal sexual activity. It includes any form of sexual activity other than between a man and his wife. It includes homosexuality in all its form, since it is not between a man and his wife. The word fornication comes from the same greek word that we get pornography from, which is “porneia”. In Mat 15:19, Jesus said that fornication comes out of a man’s heart and it defiles him. It makes him unclean, impure. Paul says in 1 Cor 6:13 that the body is not meant for fornication but for God. Paul says in 1 Cor 6:18 that we need to flee from engaging in fornication since unlike other sins, fornication is a sin against our own bodies. Paul says in 1 Thes 4:3-7, that it is the will of God that we abstain from fornication. He says that God wants us to be in control of our bodies in holiness and honor. Paul continues to warn us that disregarding this command, it is to disregard God. Paul says in Gal 5:19 that the works of the flesh includes fornication and whoever engages in it, will not inherit the Kingdom of God. In Eph 5:3, Paul forbids fornication. In Col 3:5, Paul says we must put to death what is earthly and that includes fornication, since we are now alive in Jesus. Paul says in 1 Cor 7:1-5 that sex before marriage is forbidden and if anyone is tempted, they must get married because once married, sex becomes a right. Deut 22:20-30 outlines some of what is included under fornication: sex outside marriage, rape, sex with your step mother, adultery and so on. Most of these listed here, according to Deut 22:20-30, were punishable by death under the old covenant. As I indicated, fornication includes adultery and committing adultery is breaking the seventh commandment of God. Jesus said in Mat 5:28 that lust is adultery in one’s heart. In Col 3:5, Paul not only forbids the act of fornication but He also forbids that thinking or planning of it.

So, the most common type of fornication in our lifetime is sex before marriage, porn, prostitution including the use of services provided by prostitutes, homosexuality and visiting strip shows or clubs. Visiting strip shows or clubs and porn falls under lust since it is sexual intent in your mind. The bible is very clear, whosoever is involved or engaged in acts of fornication whether in body or mind, they will not inherit the kingdom of God. Matt 7:21 says that only those who do the will of God will enter heaven and it is the will of God according to 1 Thes 4:3, that we abstain from all acts of fornication. If you are a Christian currently and you are involved or engaged in any type of fornication, don’t justify it. Repent!. Meaning stop!, ask God for forgiveness and turn away from it. A child of God does not keep on sinning. If you keep on sinning even though you are now aware it is a sin, then you are not a child of God and God promises you hell fire. Wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23).
1 John 3:8 (ESV Strong’s Bible)
” 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.”

If you are not a Christian then you also need to repent for you also, God promises you hell fire. There is only one name under heaven or earth that is given by which anyone can be saved, and that name is Jesus (Acts 4:12) . If you don’t accept Jesus, if you reject Jesus then, it does not matter what else you do, God promises you hell fire. Wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23). Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). But, it is not only accepting Jesus but, once you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, you must obey Him.

Therefore, whether you are a Christian or not, any act of fornication that you do and are currently doing, is a sin in the eyes of God and, God will be justified to send you to hell. Repent and put your trust in Jesus and live a life worthy of being a Christian.

Romans 2:5-11 (New Living Translation – NLT)
“5 But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 He will judge everyone according to what they have done. 7 He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. 8 But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. 9 There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.* 10 But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.”
